​The 83rd Annual ASQDE meeting is a joint conference with SWAFDE, to be held at Harrah's in Las Vegas with special room rates offered for attendees and exhibitor show participants.

The joint ASQDE/SWAFDE Conference will be three full days of learning and networking on August 18-20, 2025 at Harrah's Las Vegas. 

Our special room rates are just $29* a night! Make your reservations now using our special conference rates.  *Plus $40 daily resort fee and taxes.
 
Consider arriving by Sunday afternoon, Aug. 17 so you can check in to your room and then pick up your conference packet in the meeting area between 3:30 and 5:30 p.m. (PST). You’ll save time Monday morning when the conference begins. 

PROGRAM
 
The theme for the meeting is Sharing Solutions, appropriate for our joint meeting with SWAFDE.  To date, these workshops are confirmed:
 
•    Indentations & Visible Writing Sequencing.
•    Error as a Learning Tool.
•    Evaluative Reporting.

We will also be holding a break-out workshop exclusively for trainees and junior examiners on a special topic.
 
As the program planning progresses, updates will be posted.

2025 REGISTRATION RATES

HOTEL ROOM BLOCK - REDUCED REGISTRATION EXPLANATION
Your conference registration fee will be charged according to the reduced rate chart below IF you guarantee your reservation at Harrah's Las Vegas by July 25 at the negotiated rate of $29/night (plus discounted resort fee of $40/day and tax) using our group code SHASQ5. You can reserve online at https://book.passkey.com/go/SHASQ5.

NOTE: Attendees who are not planning to guarantee their reservation in the hotel room block will be charged an additional $150 fee at time of registration. 

Local registrants who are unable to book a hotel stay may pay the Hotel Room Block reduced registration rate.

Conference registration includes all technical sessions and workshops, the President's Reception (cocktails and appetizers) on Monday, Aug. 18 and the cocktail reception and banquet on Tuesday, Aug. 19.

ASQDE CONFERENCE REFUND POLICY

All requests for cancellation/refund must be made in writing via email only to [email protected].

100% REFUND (less a $25 administrative fee) for requests received through July 9.
75% REFUND for requests received July 10-31.
50% REFUND for requests received Aug. 1-10.
NO REFUNDS given as of Aug. 11.

ASQDE and SWAFDE Members and invited guests are encouraged to submit an abstract for a poster, podium presentation, panel or workshop.

The theme of the 2025 AGM is Sharing Solutions.

Abstracts are due by May 1, 2025 via the online form only (button below). Your submission will be automatically routed to the Program Chair and committee for review. No submissions are accepted by fax, mail, or email. 

Final presentations/posters are due July 20, 2025 (via upload to a link provided by the program chair).

Non-Members: You must request a guest invitation from an ASQDE or SWAFDE member and receive an official invitation by email in order to attend or participate in this meeting. If you do not know a member who will request an invitation for you, please complete this form to request a guest invitation (you will be asked to upload your CV with the request).  You may still submit an abstract pending approval of your invitation.​ ​

The ASQDE has arranged for special room rates​ of only $29/night for registered attendees and exhibitor show participants. A $40 daily resort fee and applicable taxes will apply. Rates include two guest admissions to the fitness center and in-room internet access. 

The ASQDE/SWAFDE conference rate is good for single or double occupancy, and is valid for attendees for up to three days before and after our conference dates.

Exhibitor Show

The Exhibitor Show will run from mid-morning on Monday, Aug. 18 through Wednesday afternoon, Aug. 20.  

The Exhibitor Show offers four levels of sponsorship: Diamond, Gold, Silver and Bronze.
