Forensic document examination involves the examination and
comparison of handwriting, typewriting, alterations and obliterations on
documents, the source identification of the production of documents, ink
examinations, indented writing examinations, and numerous other types of
document examinations. Forensic document examiners are often referred to as handwriting experts.
Ms. Tolliver has testified on numerous occasions as an expert
witness in the field of forensic document examination in federal and
state courts, as well as administrative and labor dispute proceedings.
