The November 2012 issue of The Society Pages has been posted to the Newsletter Archives (password required).

Several awards were presented at the recent ASQDE meeting. The ASQDE is pleased to announce that Dan Purdy is the 2012 recipient of the Albert S. Osborn Award of Excellence and Bill Flynn is the 2012 recipient of the Linton Godown Award for Research. In addition, ASQDE President Linton A. Mohammed was presented with New Horizons Award by the American Board of Forensic Document Examiners.

The following officers were elected for the 2012-2014 term: James Green, President, John Osborn, Vice President, Lee Miller, Secretary, Lamar Miller, Treasury, Samiah Ibrahim, Director, Joyce Lauterbach, Director.  Their term begins in October.

During the 2012 AGM, Robert Muehlberger and Janis Winchester were elected to Life Membership. Charles Haywood was promoted to Regular Member. Jean Charles Dumont was elected a Provisional Member. Koen Herlaar and Andrea Devlin were elected to Corresponding Membership. Douglas Foster and Robert Freeman were elected to Honorary Membership.

Abstracts for the Vol. 15, No. 1 issue of the Journal of the ASQDE have been posted to the website.

Members can still purchase the most recent DVD from the ASQDE AGM (password required).

The first ten years of back issues of the Journal of the ASQDE are now available on DVD. Individual years through 2009 are available on CD.
