Registration for the 71st Annual General Meeting of the
American Society of Questioned Document Examiners has begun. Use the form
linked to this page to register with a credit card for the 2013 AGM, make
your banquet selections, and order extra banquet tickets. The same form is
used by both members and invited guests. Registration for the ASQDE AGM includes admission to all
ASQDE social receptions, scientific sessions, one banquet ticket, and a
compilation of the 2013 conference papers on DVD. Registration fees
are below.
This year, you can also use the form to register for a separate Advanced VSC
Workshop that will be taught at the Embassy Suites on Saturday, August 24 from 8:30 to noon.
A separate registration fee of $100
applies. Foster + Freeman Application Engineers Michael Zontini and Owen Lang
will teach attendees little known information
on features of the VSC to enable them to take full advantage
of this complex instrument.
The class is limited to 25 attendees, so you should register early to ensure you
receive a seat. Preference will be given to ASQDE members and the
class seats will be filled in the order the registrations received.
In addition, use the registration form to register for a special activity
that has been planned for spouses and family accompanying ASQDE members and guests. For only $25
per person, attendees enjoy a catered lunch, a creative art project, and exploration of a beautiful Victorian mansion, just a short seven-minute ride from the hotel on Sunday, August 25 at noon (transportation provided).

The ASQDE uses PayPal for all credit card transactions. You do need a PayPal account to use this form.
If you are having problems with the PayPal transaction, click
here for
possible reasons. If you don't want to use PayPal, and want to pay by check
or need to use a purchase order, you can complete our
PDF Registration Form, which can be mailed to the address on the
registration form. Credit cards can only
be used when registering online through PayPal.
Attendance at the ASQDE AGM is limited to
members and invited guests. Regular, Life, and Corresponding Members of the
ASQDE may request a
guest invitation from the Secretary.
Trainees and students
may register at a reduced rate. Trainees are individuals who have not
yet completed their basic training as a forensic document examiner.
Students are full-time college students who have not yet entered the field
of forensic document examination. If there is a question as to whether
an individual qualifies for this reduced rate, the decision of the ASQDE
Executive Committee is final.

All requests for cancellation must be sent to the Nanette Davis, ASQDE Executive Assistant in writing via fax or e-mail. Telephone cancellations are not accepted. If registration is cancelled, fees will be refunded as listed below. The ASQDE refund policy and deadlines applies to the ABFDE workshop registration as well.
Prior to 7/8/13 - Full refund, less $25.00 administrative fee
7/9/13 - 7/22/13 - 75% refund
7/23/13 - 8/5/13 - 50% refund
After 8/6/13 - No refunds
Registration Procedures:
After completing the registration form fields, click on the
"Add to Cart" button. The PayPal website will open in a new window. Check
to make sure that your registration information is correct.
To register for the Advanced VSC Workshop, the family activity, or order extra banquet
tickets, click on the "continue shopping button" to return to the
registration form. Make your additional selections from the
appropriate menu and then click the "Add to Cart" button below that menu.
Once your order is complete, click the "Proceed to Checkout" button in the
PayPal shopping cart to complete the remainder of your registration.
If you are registering on behalf of someone else (such as an agency
representative registering their employee(s) for the meeting), please note
that this form does not provide for a space to enter the name of the
registrant. You will need to enter the attendee's name as it is to appear on
the nametag once you go to the PayPal screen. If for some reason you do not
see this field, please send a confirming email to
Nanette Davis, ASQDE Executive Assistant and advise her of the name of
the person attending so she can match it to the registration.
If you are not an ASQDE member, do not register for
the ASQDE meeting until you have received a written invitation from the
ASQDE Secretary. Registrations made without a written invitation from
the Secretary will result in a cancellation of the registration and a $25.00
administrative fee will be deducted from the amount refunded to the credit
card.
