Abstracts must be submitted no later than May 1, 2012. This enables copies to go immediately to all program committee members and into our database. Faxed/mailed abstracts are no longer accepted. Please note that the following form REQUIRES bio info for ALL authors/presenters, so please be sure to have the information ready before you begin this form. (Bios must be brief -- just 3 sentences covering education, training, and current employment and/or memberships.)

Abstract

Instructions for writing the Research Paper / Poster Presentation Abstract

Please submit a concise and factual summary, no more than 200 words, including:

  • the purpose of the research
  • the most important results
  • the key conclusions reached

Since it is submitted separately from the article or poster it will represent, the abstract must stand alone. Please avoid all non-standard abbreviation. Please use both upper and lowercase letters.

The abstract description submitted should also appear at the beginning of your completed paper. 


 

 

Biography

Instructions for writing your biography

Please write a brief 3-sentence bio in the box below.  A bio is required for EVERY paper or poster abstract submission as it may be used both on the program DVD and/or to introduce you at the meeting.  Please follow these guidelines:

  • write the bio in third person, as if someone is reading it to introduce you
  • include your education, training, certification and/or professional memberships
  • include only your current position and employer

 


 

Your Final Paper, Poster, or Presentation

Upon acceptance you will be notified by the Program Chair and may be asked to change the format of your presentation (i.e., from presentation to poster or vice versa) for time considerations. Please note that all decisions of the vetting committee are final.

Your final paper/poster/PowerPoint presentation in Word or PDF format must be received by email no later than July 1, 2012 to be included on the meeting DVD.  Send the paper as an attachment to nanette@asqde.org.

If it is too large to email, it can be mailed on CD.  Hard copies of your presentation are not required.  Mail to:
